operational model and its commitment to UAE's oil and gas sector.
With a deeper understanding of organizational life cycles and
transitionary trends, Al Bawardi also has envisioned new opportunities
in the developing UAE financial and capital markets, and took
actions to the lead transformation of family-owned business
to institutions, establishing precedence with the transformation
of Al Bawardi Oil and Gas to Emdad LLC and consolidation of
its investment in MarCap under Emdad LLC.
In mid eighties
when the floodgates of PC revolution opened, Al Bawardi
Computers (now ITQAN) were the first to be host of emergent
technologies that extended from basic hardware
to enterprise-wide applications and later web-based solutions.
Al Bawardi group has been the pioneer to invest in an
IT-related business since then. Al Bawardi Group now has
six investments in IT and sponsor the offices of three
leading international companies including Oracle, Accenture
and Gartner Group.
In Nineties, in tune with the global trend, AE forayed into
the potential segment of business services to support the region's
dynamic corporate community through performance enhancement,
Medical Equipment, Interior Design and Office Furniture, Telecommunications,
e-business, e-commerce, marketing and advertising and niche
contracting.
The process of evolution for Al Bawardi Group is infinite.
