ITQAN and SumTotal Team Up to Provide Complete HR Framework
ITQAN Supplements Human Resources Application Offerings with Sum Total’s Talent Development Suite
ITQAN, the leading systems integrator and IT solutions provider in the UAE, and SumTotal® Systems, a global provider of talent development solutions, announced today their partnership which aims to allow companies in the region to empower their employees through a comprehensive human resources framework.
To mark the beginning of this collaboration, ITQAN and SumTotal have organized a joint event in Abu Dhabi being held last 8 April 2009, to launch their partnership. The aim of the event is to discuss talent development and its influence on maximizing organizational performance. In addition, experts have discussed the importance of automating the HR/Payroll processes, Learning management and performance management processes since it is now important that employees’ objectives are derived from the organization’s overall strategic objectives to ensure that the whole organization is working towards achieving a unified vision and mission. The event took place at Hilton International Abu Dhabi (Liwa Ballroom) on Wednesday 8th April, at 9:00 a.m – 2:00 pm.

According to Charles Stewart, SumTotal’s EMEA VP Sales, the Talent Development Suite includes a learning management module that enhances and upgrades the skills of employees using the automation benefits of e-learning. This is then leveraged by the performance management module that enables users to track, measure, and sustain employee performance.
