ITQAN honored with Microsoft Winning Customer Award for inspiring customer loyalty with winning technology solutions
Abu Dhabi, 31 July 06 – ITQAN announced that it has won the Winning Customer Award for outstanding competitive efforts.
The company was chosen from an international field of top Microsoft Partners for delivering market-leading solutions that highlight the benefits of working on the Microsoft platform. The award was presented at a ceremony held on July 12 in Boston at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,300 entrants worldwide. ITQAN was recognized for its successful implementation of a Microsoft-based solution, versus utilizing the technology of other vendors that resulted in significant benefits to customers. Award winners were required to have implemented solutions involving successful migrations, custom software development or completing customer upgrades that leverage Microsoft technology. ITQAN won this year's award by expertly developing a customer solution that exemplifies the benefits of working on the Microsoft platform rather than those of other technology vendors. ITQAN starts by understanding customers' needs and problems and then specifies suitable solution components to facilitate the analysis/gap analysis phase. This enables the company to collect full details of the customers' requirements and produce a user requirements manual, which is used as a guideline throughout the various project stages.
In the design phase ITQAN's solution architects translate these requirements and map them to the appropriate function of the proposed solution. The technical team then implements the constructed design by developing new features and customizing existing ones.
Finally, the quality assurance team reviews the whole solution and produces test plans, to test each system component, ensuring that it is fully functional as per the customer requirements. Once the system is ready, a pilot run phase will begin. The team makes the required fine- tuning during the pilot run before the system goes live.
The solution is highly scalable, therefore new databases and application servers can be added whenever required. In addition, new services can be added to the system using the existing framework without the need for further development.
The solution also provides high availability, as the application and database servers are installed on MS windows 2003 clusters in an active-passive mode.

Multiple awards are distributed in four categories: Partner of the Year for Technology Innovation, Partner of the Year for Sales and Marketing, the Specialization Excellence Awards and the Microsoft Initiative Awards, which include the Winning Customer Award and the Customer Experience Award.
