Microsoft & ITQAN to update Zonescorp IT systems

Abu Dhabi, 27 June 2007: In the course of updating its services and its products, the higher corporation for specialized economic zones in Abu Dhabi (ZonesCorp) signed an agreement with Microsoft International to update its IT systems.

The agreement was signed by the acting CEO of ZonesCorp Engineer Jaber Hareb Al Khaili and Mr. Yasser Zaineldin, Director, Enterprise & Partner Group & Mr Feras Al Jabi General Manager of ITQAN.

By updating its IT systems, ZonesCorp will avail all the required information electronically by using Microsoft system of “win PE”.

The win PE system will help facilitate the updating of IT applications used by the employees of Zonescorp.

Another system to be introduces is the “tech net online concierge chat”. The concierge chat will help to use the internet to solve any technical problem that will face the employees of ZonesCorp in the course of doing their work.

The Acting CEO of ZonesCorp said introducing new and updated IT systems will help to improve the work relations between Zonescorp and all its clients.

All factories and industrial establishments in the industrial city of Abu Dhabi (ICAD 1, 2, 3) will also be able to make use of the updated IT systems to be introduced.

Commenting on the importance of the agreement, Feras Al Jabi, General Manager, ITQAN, said: “We are extremely pleased to sign this agreement with Zones Corp which enjoys a great reputation in Abu Dhabi as the host and facilitator for modern industries. We will do our best to enable Zones Corp achieve its objectives and fulfill its commitments.”

Al Jabi also together noted that Zones Corp and ITQAN have worked together in the past. . ITQAN has previously implemented its unique HR and Payroll solution eKawader for the Zones Corp. eKawader is built on Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Microsoft Great Plains), which is a comprehensive business management programme that offers a cost-effective solution for managing and integrating finances, e-commerce, supply chain, manufacturing, project accounting, field service, customer relationships, and human resources.
